Automation and AI

Teamdock can do work for you that keeps coming back, and help you with questions about your shop. There are three parts to this: the assistant to ask questions, automations that do something by themselves when something happens, and worker beans that look after the automations for one job.

Part Where What for
Assistant Assistant in the sidebar, or the sparkle at the top right Ask questions about orders, customers, products, sales and tickets, and have something done after your approval.
Automation Planning → Automation Build rules from blocks: when this happens, do that.
Beans At the top of Automation Worker beans with one job, such as logistics or copywriting, that have their own automations.
AI Settings → AI See how AI works in your workspace, and optionally switch on extra services.
Integrations Settings → Integrations Connect your own Dropbox and Airtable for automations.
  • Want to know something, or have something done quickly? Ask the assistant. See The assistant.
  • Something that must happen the same way every time? Build an automation, for example a Peppol invoice for every Dutch order. See Building automations.
  • Want to give one job to one worker? Make a worker bean. See Worker beans.
  • The assistant looks things up freely, but shows you every change first. Nothing happens until you click Approve.
  • An automation you have drafted with AI is saved disabled. Nothing happens until you switch it on.
  • An automation can wait for an approval from a colleague or a department before it carries on.

AI features, such as the assistant, product texts and looking up product data, use AI credits. Every plan gets credits each month. What you have used and what is left is under Settings → Payments → Subscription. When the credits are used up, the AI features pause until you top up or next month’s credits arrive. Everything else keeps working. See Subscription and billing.

All AI in your workspace runs through your own Teamdock gateway, on models hosted in the EU. Customer details are replaced by placeholders before a request leaves your workspace. There are no keys to enter and no providers to choose. See AI settings and privacy.
