Online payment of invoices
A customer who receives an invoice from you can pay it online. Teamdock uses the same Mollie account you connected in your WooCommerce shop. You do not need to enter extra keys: Teamdock reads the Mollie setting from your shop.
This is about payments from your customers to you. How you pay for your own Teamdock subscription is explained in Subscription.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Mollie has to be set up in your shop, in WooCommerce under WooCommerce → Payments. Teamdock checks there whether there is a Mollie key.
Turning online payments on
Section titled “Turning online payments on”- Go to Settings → Payments → Providers.
- Under Online payments you see two lines:
- WooCommerce Mollie: whether Mollie is connected in your shop, and whether it is in test mode or live mode.
- Invoice payments (Invoice Ninja): whether customers can already pay online.
- Click Enable online payments.
- You see Online payments enabled and the second line changes to Active — customers can pay invoices online.
If the button is greyed out and it says No Mollie key found in WooCommerce, set up Mollie in your shop first and come back afterwards.
How the customer pays
Section titled “How the customer pays”The invoice email contains a link to the invoice. There the customer can pay online with the payment methods switched on in your Mollie account. As soon as the payment is in, Teamdock sees it within a minute: the invoice moves to Paid and the order to Processing if it was not paid yet. See Invoices.
If the customer prefers to transfer the money, your IBAN and account holder are on the invoice. You fill these in under Settings → Account → Legal entity. Then mark the invoice as paid with Mark paid.
Changed Mollie?
Section titled “Changed Mollie?”Did you set a different Mollie key in your shop, or move from test mode to live mode? Click Re-sync Mollie key. Teamdock then takes over the new setting for invoice payments.
Payment links for orders
Section titled “Payment links for orders”For an order that has not been paid yet, you do not need an invoice to send a payment link. Use Email payment request in the order. The customer then pays through your shop’s checkout page. See Working with orders.
Other tabs
Section titled “Other tabs”Next to Providers, Settings → Payments has the tabs Payment methods and Subscription. Those are about your Teamdock subscription, see Subscription. In the Teamdock app on your phone you only see Providers.
